“Mausam” veteran Indian actor Pankaj Kapur highly anticipated debut film was withdrawn from the Toronto Film Festival line-up, one day before he was at first.
Organizers said in a statement that they were informed of the study that the film had not received regulatory approval in India in time to show the film this week in Toronto.
“We ran within the approvals of the Indian Air Force and the Board of Film Certification in India,” producer Sheetal Talwar said.
The study of Eros International Media Limited received approval from the film Indian Air Group final before cleaning the censor board of India, in exchange for using his image.
Three projections of today, tomorrow and Friday in Toronto, as well as the world’s media, at a press conference was canceled at the last minute on Tuesday.
In the film, Shahid Kapur a Sun Force pilot of Air India’s Punjab, whose love for a woman of Kashmir (Sonam Kapoor) is thwarted by their differences – he is Hindi, she is Muslim.
